Youth Day Camps

Ready, set, SUMMER!

Make memories to last a lifetime at Youth Day Camps.

  • Youth Day Camps is a Christian faith-based program. During programming, faith-based discussions may be integrated in a youth-friendly, non-coercive manner. Youth from any faith background are welcome to attend!

  • Youth Day Camps are on every Monday - Thursday from July 6th to August 13th, 2026.

    Drop off and pick up times are at 9:30am and 4:00pm, respectively.

  • Laurier Heights Baptist Church (8505 142 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5R 0M2)

    Transportation to each field trip and activity will be provided as necessary.

  • The cost per day is $25/youth BUT we offer subsidies that are easy to access!

    We offer a subsidized rate of $15/day/youth, which is easily accessible through the registration form. If the subsidy spots are full for the day, or if you have a special circumstance that requires a greater subsidy, please contact our office at 587-404-8877. Additional subsidies are given on a case-by-case basis.

    Due to high interest, once each day has reached capacity, a waitlist will be available for registration. You will be contacted by our office in the event that we are able to move you off of the waitlist.

Youth Overnight Trip

A four-day camping trip in Kananaskis

  • For the Youth Overnight Trip we head to the mountains for a week of hiking, canoeing, white water rafting, and more!

    The Youth Overnight Trip is a Christian faith-based program. During the trip, faith-based discussions may be integrated in a youth-friendly, non-coercive manner. Youth from any faith background are welcome to attend!

    Priority for this trip will be given to youth in Grades 7-12. Grade 6 students will be put on the waitlist and contacted if additional spots are available.

    A prerequisite of attendance at a minimum of 3 Youth Day Camps is required for admittance to this trip. This allows our staff to get to know the youth and evaluate their abilities and stamina. This trip will include long periods of physical activity while hiking or canoeing, so it’s important that we know the youth have the ability to participate in these activities.

    Please note that this is not a registration for the trip, but rather an application. Once the prerequisites are met and your youth has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete the payment and finalize the registration.

  • Youth Overnight will take place from August 17th - 20th

  • Youth Overnight is in Kananaskis This year we chose a campsite near Banff National Park as basecamp, and plan to explore everything the mountains has to offer from there.

    Drop off and pick up is typically at the KOT office, as transportation to and from will be provided.

  • The cost of the trip is typically $250. This includes supplies, food, transportation, and activity fees. Should you require subsidy assistance with this cost, please contact our office at 587-404-8877.

Hike Like A Girl

Hike Like a Girl is a 3-day camping adventure for girls in Grade 9+ near Jasper. Learn backpacking basics, hike scenic trails, swim, and build confidence, all while having fun outdoors.

  • During the trip the ladies connect with awesome mentors and gain confidence by overcoming wilderness and personal challenges. Girls on the trip will experience tent sleeping, outdoor cooking, and other important outdoor skills.

    HLAG is a Christian faith-based program. During the trip, faith-based discussions may be integrated in a youth-friendly, non-coercive manner. Girls from any faith background are welcome to attend!

    A prerequisite of attendance at a minimum of 3 Youth Day Camps is required for admittance to this trip. This allows our staff to get to know the girls. This trip includes long periods of physical activity as we summit a mountain, so it’s important that we know the girls have the ability to participate in these activities.

  • HLAG takes place July 24-26.

  • HLAG is near Jasper National Park!

    Drop off and pick up is at the KOT office, as transportation to and from Jasper National Park will be provided.

  • The typical cost of the trip is $200. This includes equipment, food, and transportation.
