Kids On Track is now hiring for the following positions (click to see a full job description):
Summer Positions: Currently all our summer positions have been hired. Please keep us in mind for next year. We typically hire all our summer positions by the end of February each year.
Volunteer Opportunities

Summer needs:
Bus Driver
Time Commitment: - Monday - Friday (July & August) approx. ~ 3 hours a day
- Children can attend all summer programing for free
- Responsible for bus safety
Monthly Rally needs:
Bus Driver
Time Commitment: - 2nd Saturday of the month and special family events
- Responsible for driving a set route
- Responsible for bus safety
Bus Captain
Time Commitment: - 2nd Saturday of the month and special family events
- Behavior management of children on the bus
- Attendance records of bussed kids
- Bus safety policies and procedures
- Singing, games, and building relationships with the children on your route
Stage Team (drama, worship leader, puppetry, game leader)
Time Commitment: - 2nd Saturday of the month and special family events
Responsible for:
- Reviewing the lesson you are delivering that week
- Preparing any props needed for the lesson
- Behavior management of children during the Rally (when not on stage)
- Working with teens in the Leader In Training Experience program
Rally Support Worker
Time Commitment: - 2nd Saturday of the month and special family events
- Snack preparation
- Pre and post Rally games
- Store
- Sound/Lighting assistant
- Set-up/take-down/clean-up
School Character Clubs
Lunch Charcter Clubs - Time commitment is approximately 30 minutes of prep and 1 hour of program time per club. Clubs take place in the noon hour at a local school. This day of the week is flexible depending on the volunteer availability and the schools request.
After School Character Clubs - Time commitment is approximately 1 hour of prep and 2 hours of program time per club. Clubs take place at local schoools on Thursdays (early dismissal day) from 2:00 - 4:00 or on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 3:00 - 5:00.
Saturday Character Clubs - Time commitment is approximately 1 hour of prep and 2 hours of program time per club. Clubs generally take place on the Saturdays (except the 2nd Saturday of the month) from 2:00 - 4:00 at People's Church. Some deviations from this schedule occur for special events.
Volunteer Positions
Club Leader (1 per site)
Responsible for:
- Leading the club team for the site
- Delivering the club program outlined by Kids On Track - this includes the following program elements (games, crafts, songs, stories, bible lessons, snack)
- Maintaining attendance records
- Connecting with Kids On Track weekly
- Connecting with the school/alternate site regularly
Club Helper (2-4 per site)
Responsible for:
- Helping with one or more program components such as games, crafts, songs, stories, bible lessons, or snack
Special Events
Time Commitment is approximately 2 - 5 hours per event depending on the job assigned.
Volunteer Positions
- Food Preparation
- Food Serving
- Set-up / clean-up
- Table host/hostess
- Pre-event administrative help
Family Support Worker (Time commitment varies)
Responsible for:
- Phoning the bus route each month prior to the Monthly Rally
- Phoning prior to Special Events
- Home visitations of new families or families in need
